We’re going to admit something.  We can’t remember the last time we went to the gym or did any type of physical exercise.  Something about winter just robs us of any motivation whatsoever. Just hand us an oversized sweater and a bowl of soup.  But we’re thinking of getting back in shape.  What’s the reason, you wonder, especially considering the plethora of holiday parties and feasts in the coming weeks?  The Walk of SHAMELESS, that’s what.

Beginning January 18^th, SHOWTIME will be hosting the first ever Walk of SHAMELESS, a 5-day shamelessly awesome competition in support of its returning hit original series SHAMELESS.  Grab 2 of your friends (or, actually, forget friends and just grab the people with the most stamina) and enter by December 30^th for your chance to win $50,000.  Yep, that’s right, $50,000.  The catch?  For 5 days, you and your teammates must take turns walking continuously on a treadmill for 12 straight hours (that’s where the stamina comes in).  But don’t think you can just show up and walk for 5 measly days.  You think the Gallaghers ever got anything that easy?  Throughout the competition, each team will be given challenges – don’t worry, they’re fun for you and pretty hilarious for everyone watching – based on their knowledge of SHAMELESS, so make sure to bone up with encore episodes of Season 1, and new Season 2 episodes beginning January 8^th, only on SHOWTIME.
